We booked a holiday apartment via Booking.com, but what we found was completely different from the listing. The apartment was in a cold, dark basement, right next to a loud street, absolutely not suitable for a relaxing stay.
When we contacted the property management to cancel, their response was extremely rude and insulting. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, they reacted in a dismissive and offensive manner.
Even after several attempts by Booking.com to resolve the situation, Domvs Italica continues to ignore all communication and refuses to issue any refund. This is not how you treat paying customers.
Their complete lack of professionalism and respect made this one of the worst booking experiences we’ve ever had. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company.
Are there other reviews confirming this experience, or could this have been an isolated incident with the apartment conditions and customer service? Also, what specifically was advertised differently compared to what was provided?
